Mouse hunt...
I had to get a new mouse for the computer today...because when I got home from work a little bunny had got behind the computer and was having a snack...he's ok- everything was shut off so he didn't get a shock.
Mr. Ollie kept giving me this look to maintain his innocence.

Derby Day
Mrs. P. decided we should put a small wager on the Kentucky Derby. I've never played the ponies but thought this would be fun to try once. There's a local Turf Club /OTB place about 5 miles from us. So I looked in the paper and made my picks for the trifecta... and thanks to Street Sense, Hard Spun and Curlin...I won...I only did a $1 bet boxed so that was $6 and then another $5 on Hard Spun to Show - grand total:
$11 got me $237.
Of course I rubbed lucky bunny feet before the race.

Another backyard friend
I was on my deck today after work and suddenly from the woods out hopped the wild rabbit that lives around here. This is the first time I saw him this Spring. He hopped around , nibbled some dandelion, washed his face, chilled out in the grass near the groundhog and sauntered off - he looked up at me a few times as if to say Hello.
